The Schaefer CDB18 Cool Draft Blue™ 18” Fan, Pump Base, 10 gallon tank can cool an area up to 200 square feet for approximately 5 hours.

It has a 10 gallon water reservoir tank and includes a 25 foot outdoor-rated power cord with integrated GFCI. The Cool Draft Blue mist pump is rated for one gallon per minute output housed in a heavy-duty enclosure with power cut-off tip switch. Fan assembly includes a white powder-coated fan mounted to a yoke that is attached to the pump enclosure. The patented hub increases the air flow from the fan and releases mist in the "Sweet Spot" of the fans air stream. The mist hub has four .012 nozzles.

The cool air you will now enjoy when using this misting equipment is created through the process of evaporation. Heat is required to change water from a liquid to a gas or "water vapor". Our self-contained power misting equipment creates a "fog" by pumping water at a very low flow rate through small nozzles. When combined with the air added by a fan, this fog is rapidly evaporated. The heat required to evaporate the fog is extracted from the air causing a reduced air temperature. This cooler air is then distributed to people or animals creating a direct cooling effect.
